A yango driver whom I booked to take me and my baby home has asked to use our toilet.

Hi everyone. I badly need your thoughts about what happened to me and my baby yesterday. We just moved to abu dhabi to our new apartment inside a villa. I booked a yango taxi to take me and my infant baby who wasn’t feeling well to our new place. The driver was a lady and the ride took only 7 minutes cause she picked us up from a nearby mall. When we got to our new place, I was in hurry to go out as I was already struggling to calm my baby down so I just want to get inside and it was very hot and our place has a coded gate. After I gave the cash, the lady asked me if she can come with us as she wanted to use the toilet. There was nothing wrong with that; however, I was caught off guard because never did I ever experience this plus I was struggling with my baby and I explained to her that we are new to the place and not even sure with the condition of our apartment and so I told her sorry. I gave her cash and I didn’t take the change but before I left the taxi, she told me “so I have to go back to the mall to use the toilet?” I didn’t know how to answer her question and my baby was already hysterical so I left. I was expecting she would immediately leave to the nearby mall where she picked me up but she didn’t move at all. I struggled opening the gate entering the code as I was holding a bag and a crying infant. She stayed there the whole time staring at us until we got in. I honestly feel so bad that I refused her as she might took it bad. Coincidentally, I started receiving a call from a Uganda number and I don’t know why I am freaking out.

Am I so rude to refuse her? I didn’t really expect that. It’s been in my mind ever since.
