Biotech/pharma professionals returning to India?

Are there any Biotech or Biopharma professionals who have returned/planning to return to India after gaining work experience abroad? How has your job search experience in India looked like, especially for non-research roles? Did anyone actually land a role successfully? If you have had any luck with landing a role, what strategies work for applying to companies in India (either Indian companies or global ones with sites in India)? Are having referrals within the companies essential for the applications to be even considered?
