Firstly i am not a fan of RC before you guys label me as his PR

This is my 1st post in R/ TOLLYWOOD and i am a BOB fan btw

Don't know why, but I feel like RC deserved much more appreciation for this movie.

I didn't watch this movie in theaters after seeing all the criticism and negative reviews.

But now I feel like RC single-handedly carried this movie.

I laughed hard when Chiru said he deserved a National Award, but now my opinion has changed. It may not be that kind of performance, but it genuinely felt like RC put his soul into this character.

It was quite baffling to me that an actor who has this much potential ended up doing cringe stuff like GAME CHANGER.🤧

I think our focus on Janhvi's characterization overshadowed RC's hard work.

Drawbacks:

1) Those cricket shots. 🤣 As someone who's been a cricket freak since childhood, those shots deserve to be posted on r/CricketShitpost.

2) Janhvi's characterization. Had they given her a better dressing sense and portrayed her character properly, this movie could have done so much better.

3) Janhvi's acting. 😬 The less we talk about it, the better. Her crying scenes were cringe as fuck. 😅 She may have achieved today's beauty standards after cosmetic procedures, but I don't know if she'll ever match even 10% of her mom's acting skills.

4) The sidekick actors, except Jagapathi Babu and Shivaraj Kumar, were doing overacting pro max—like ₹10 worth of acting for ₹1 payment.

5) Portraying RC as a pervert at the beginning.

6) RC voluntarily amputating his leg felt like a forced emotional tactic to make the audience cry.

7) It would've been much better if they had focused on one game instead of making a khichdi out of everything.

Did Backlash over Jhanvi characterisation masked well deserved appreciation for RC
