We’re a small dev team building a hobby VTT project and would love your input
We’re a small team of professional software developers who play and love tabletop RPGs. As a hobby project, we want to a new Virtual Tabletop (VTT).
We’ve put together a short survey to learn what players and GMs actually want from a VTT:

It should take around 10 minutes.

This is not a commercial pitch, and we’re not trying to sell anything.
Since we’re doing this for fun and with no commercial pressure, we’re especially interested in ideas that might be too niche, weird, risky, or experimental for larger companies to prioritize.
For example, one thing we’re curious about is the idea of persistent worlds shared across many groups, where different parties could affect the same setting over time. But we also want to understand whether people actually want things like that, or whether most groups prefer private, self-contained campaigns.
We’d also love to hear thoughts in the comments, especially if there’s something you’ve always wanted from a VTT but assumed no one would ever build because it was too niche or unusual.
Thanks in advance!
