We need to use this abbreviation in the future!
So I was thinking about how to make English phrases sound good when abbreviated, and I came up with something that MUST change the future of English:
&IQ = (and I quote)
Here's an example of how this could work:
Even Mendeleev once predicted that, &IQ (and I quote):
“With stable development, Russia at the beginning of the 21st century will have about 600 million inhabitants.”
So, how this should always work grammatically is the structure Comma → &IQ → Colon → Line break.
It can also be used (exceptions) like this:
Martin said - &IQ (and, I quote) - "I hate Australian food".
Or like this:
I remember my brother once said, SQ (shortened quote):
"...Always believe in yourself..."
So if you don't remember the full quote or it is too long, you can just use the second version,
Would this reform be helpful? I will try to reply to every comment.
