**Representative Marlin Stutzman (R-Ind.) and Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear are calling for official updates on Senator Mitch McConnell’s health after nearly a month without detailed information.**

McConnell was admitted to the hospital on June 14 for an undisclosed medical condition. Since then, his office has released few details, prompting Stutzman to publicly question the senator's status.

"Do you know that he’s alive? I don’t," Stutzman said during a recent television appearance. He stated that while he has heard reports from friends that McConnell is unwell, he has received no official confirmation regarding whether the senator is still alive or has passed away. Stutzman emphasized that Republicans need to hold their own party accountable for the lack of communication, adding that Kentucky constituents deserve to know where their representative is.

Governor Beshear has also sent a formal letter to McConnell’s office requesting information. Stutzman voiced support for the governor's inquiry, noting that a three-week silence justifies the concern.
