Job market in the Twin Cities is rough right now, is it just me?

Just moved here from North Dakota about two months ago 18 just out of high school and I've been grinding on the job search for months now. Applied to probably 100+ resturant host jobs all over and the response rate has been terrible. Went to a solid number of interviews too, felt like they went well... and then just nothing. No callback, no rejection email, just silence.

Is anyone else running into this lately? Starting to wonder if I'm doing something wrong or if it's genuinely just this competitive.
