Storm Collectibles Street Fighter Curiosity

So, I'm really excited to see all the new pre-orders opening for Storm Collectibles Street Fighter Alpha figures. It had me curious if they had the more classic styles available, and I came across the New Challengers line. The prices were astronomically different, though. The NC line was ~$100, while the Alpha line is in the $35 range, minus the larger figures like Zangief.

Just curious if someone more familiar with this brand and line had insight as to why there is such a sharp price decrease, and if we can expect New Challengers to get released again at a lower price point.

Thanks in advance to all the experts!
