Is Apple promoting video podcasts more right now?

I already record video for YouTube, and now that Buzzsprout distributes video to Apple Podcasts, I've been thinking about upgrading. The plan is $30/month compared to the $12/month I'm currently paying.

Right now, Apple only accounts for about 15% of our downloads, so I'd happily pay if it actually increased our visibility on the platform.

Also, for anyone using Buzzsprout, how are the analytics handled for video podcasts? I don't upload video to Spotify because it breaks the analytics in Buzzsprout, and I'd rather keep everything in one place if possible.
