Baby ages in months
OK so this is a bit tongue in cheek, so take it lightly.
Past "18 months" can we please just say your baby is either 1 and a half, nearly two, two, two and a half, then just three, four, five, six, etc.
I find it so weird when people tell me their baby is like 28months old, why are you being weird about it?!? And why are you making me do basic maths to work out how old your baby is?
I get it when they're like 3 months old as the difference of a month is bigger, makes a difference and you can't exactly say "hes 1/4 of a year old" etc.
It just feels weird and a bit 'look at me I'm so good at counting how many months old my baby is'.
What next? Weeks? Days?
Yours sincerely, dad of a 112 month old boy, 68 month girl and 22 month old boy.
