Procurement people, what actually sucks about the job vs what's just noise
Trying to get a real feel for what this job is actually like day to day, not the LinkedIn highlight reel version.
Curious about a few things:
- what's the part of the job you genuinely hate, like makes you want to quit
- what do you just put up with because it's not worth fighting anymore
- do you feel like you're always playing defense instead of doing the actual strategic stuff
- when a vendor drops the ball, are you the one who has to go fight them on it, or does that land on someone else
Just want the real, unfiltered version from people who actually live this. If any of this hits home and you're up for a quick call or message to go deeper, DM me, happy to work around your schedule.
