Took Provera - need advice

Hi everyone,

I am 22 and have suffered with irregular periods for awhile now. I’ll sometimes get my period for 6 months straight then go months without getting it. I got bloodwork done and every kind of test done and everything is normal, im not even anemic.

We think its because im on seroquel as it seems to affect my periods. Anyway, My dr prescribed me provera (a 5 day dose) to take when my period hasnt come or if im on it for too long.

I took it a couple months ago and it stopped my bleeding while on it, then i got a regular period a couple days after then I didnt get it for 3 months.

I just finished another 5 day dose about 4 days ago to stop a 2 month long period and i feel awful. I am bleeding a lot, more then I am used to. I have had cramps for 3 days straight now. I am extremely tired and feel kind of nauseous and dizzy. I never stopped bleeding, i just started to bleed more while taking it.

I dont know if this is normal or not and im kind of freaking out. Does anyone else have similar experiences?
