Venting about fertility issues
My husband and I are currently trying to get pregnant. It has a bumpy road. I have PCOS and some other health issues. Thankfully we're they ran a bunch of test on me it shows I have a 'high-normal' amount of eggs and my tubes look good and not blocked. My main issue is I haven't been ovulateing. They gave me a medication to 'force' me to ovulate. I took at home ovulation tests and it said I was ovulateing and the blood work shows I more then likely ovulated. So know I have to wait for my period. I have never wished to have my period so bad in my life. I've only had 1 period in over a year and a half. So I'm worried I won't get my period.
I just want a baby so bad. It's been truly the only thing I wanted more then anything in life. I had a rough childhood and I raised my 3 youngest sisters. I had to grow up so fast that I didn't have a childhood and now it seems I would be able to experience motherhood. I know I should be more positive and I have so many things to be grateful for. I have such an amazing and supportive husband and sisters. I have 5 amazing nieces and nephews that I love and spoil so much. But it's still hard.
I know I just started my fertility journey and I am beyond lucky to have insurance that covers a decent amount of fertility treatment. I just want a baby. I want to be a mother.
Sorry I originally started the post to ask a question but it turned into a vent post instead. This sub has always had some of the supportive people.
