Is Lakshmikant 6th edition is still relevant???

Hello,I just started my preparation of UPSC targetting CSE 2029. I bought Lakshmikant 6 th edition....the most recent is 8 th edition...I bought it since I got it way cheaper literally 350 rupees than its current edition (700 rs) Is there any drastic difference in this two editions?

If there? Please give me a good solution
