The Bear Season 5

The Bear had its weakest year at the Emmys this time around, with JAW and Ebon snubbed in the acting categories. It's no secret that the show got a little high on its own supply with Seasons 3 and 4, and it is impossible to bring up The Bear in awards communities without jumpstarting the comedy v. drama category fraud debate.

Season 5 just came out and it is a masterpiece. The last season brings back a lot of what I (and many others) loved about the first two seasons of the show. The acting, directing, writing, and pacing are 10/10 perfection.

What I'm wondering: is The Bear cooked (no pun intended) for Emmys recognition at this point? I personally would love to see Ayo win in Lead. She deserves two Emmys for this show like her male costars, and she was undoubtedly the star and the heart of the show in S5. I doubt it'll win Best Comedy Series ever again because of the category fraud controversy. But would love to see some awards for writing, directing, and maybe guest actor/actress.
