Welcome to my review of the Hidizs Mylin. The Hidizs Mylin is hidizs' brand new IEM that focuses more on bass, and as a basshead this is great for me. The question is, is it great for you? Let's start by looking at the accessories. When you unbox the Mylin you are greeted with the IEMs made of Zinc Alloy, a cable that is comfortable with no microphonics, six pair of earbuds, and three pairs of Tuning filters. Everything in this package is great except there is no swappable cable. You have to decide if you would prefer 3.5 or 4.4. I choose 4.4 because I appreciate the extra power, and the extra volume. I used these IEMs with three sources: the Allegro mini dac, Hidizs S8 pro robin, and the Hiby R4. These headphones work well with all three of my sources. Now lets get to the sound because the accessories are great and all, but how it sounds is the most important part of an IEM.

The Hidizs My lin is an IEM featuring a sound that focuses more on the bass with a relaxed treble. This is right up my alley as previously stated I am a basshead. I love bass music, and music with a lot of bass. The bass on these is good. The midbass, and the subbass on these is good.  For example on the dubstep track Timmy by Aweminus the My lin is really great the mid bass is not lacking what so ever you can feel the punch and the slam very well on this track making the track an excellent listening experience. The sub bass is good as well, and you can feel each of the vibrations on every note of the track. Let's take another look at the bass on the mylin in the track Relic by Infekt. In this track you can feel the bass on the onset with these IEMs, and after the drop the bass definitely shines all throughout the track. The bass energy on these is great and may get you more active. Enough about the bass, what about everything else. I will quickly take off the basshead hat, and put on my treble hat. The Treble on these is more relaxed with the vocals and the instruments taking more of a backseat to the bass. For example on the song Golden age of Life by 4hero, the vocals are clear, not muddy and the instruments are clear in every part of the song, but the bass takes over making the track feel a little more bassier than it actually is. The second example of this is on the track Settle for my Love by Musiq Soulchild, and once again everything is heard clearly, and well but these make the track a little more bassier than it actually is. Depending on the person this may be annoying or great, but you already know how I feel at this point.

To summarize this review I really like the sound of these, and like all the accessories that they come with. With the price on these being $129 USD is not bad, and currently they are on sale for a limited time on Hidizs’ website for 99 dollars. These are great IEMs for the price range they are in.
