Is it really important to fill all 10 of your extracurricular spots for common app

I'm a rising senior, and I'm working on my application. I feel like I've done my fair share of contributing to my community and doing my fair share of extracurriculars, but I can't find anything I've done meaningful enough to fill all 10 of those extracurricular spots. So basically, should I just fill all 10 spots with things that are kind of meaningless/ not impressive, or should I stick with like 5 or 6 things I've done that have an actual impact? Kind of asking for more competitive schools.
