Idaho > ??

Husband and I would love to move somewhere where the income to housing ratio makes our dreams more attainable.

For reference, in the Treasure Valley (area of Idaho we live in) there are about 5 options right now on Zillow for houses (not mobile homes) under 250k and they’re all 1-2 bedrooms with very little space and no land and half of them aren’t applicable for common loans due to the amount of needed repair repairs.
This along with the environment makes our specific goals not attainable.

Goals (in reference to this specifically):

Purchase property within 2-5 years

Would love to be able to get land

With house - minimum 1/4 - 1/2 acre
(settling compared to the larger goals)

Ideally, 1-2 acres

MAX: 250k (would have to meet every ideal)

Ideal: Under 50-100k

Now, the environment.
GREEN (a must), Trees (very much preferred), Water accessibility is important but can be achieved in many ways (open to research),
Open areas, Small to medium towns/cities or no city,
Ability to grow things well, Open to many different climates but would prefer somewhere that’s not always dry,
Family friendly areas but don’t need to be strictly family oriented

NOT PICKY, Just have high financial goals.

Would love to achieve this on the west side / left half of the country, but I know it’s much more attainable on the eastern side so I am open to all suggestions.
