How to TRULY manifest your dreams?

I am a professional actor.

In the SAG-AFTRA union. Fantastic manager with a roster full of working actors on major shows, lead client is a lead on Wednesday (one of Netflix’s most popular shows).

I’ve auditioned over 330 times for major tv/film, small roles to large roles, recurrings to Series Regulars. I’ve booked and been cast in a few small roles on major tv shows.

I’ve come this close to booking a small supporting in an academy award winning directors recent film and often times the people booking the roles I read for are name actors. Not A listers but reputable actors with many credits.

The techniques never did much for me. An inner knowing and passion and confidence has gotten me this far.

And doing this by the book. All the non glamorous non manifesting thing. Training for years, self producing, making mistakes, making a food out of myself. But ultimately believing.

The industry is in a historic contraction. 600 shows produce in USA cut down to 300. Meryl Streep doing TV, so everybody is pushed down a notch.

This year has been one of my best for audition quality: I’ve read for series regulars for the straight to series Amazon show Bishop with Joel Kinnamin John Malkovich and Jennifer Jason Leigh, I auditioned for a series regulars for HBOS straight to series How To Survive Without Me with Ray Romano Joshua Jackson and Caley Kuoco, and last week I read for a top of show guest star for the straight to series NCIS:NY for the pilot episode.

But I’m not booking / sealing the deal. Many Casting Directors have had me audition for the 3/4/5/6+ times but I’m not booking… something is holding me back….

Like I said visualizing/ affirmations / SATS… they never really did anything for me, really just piss me off.

It’s actually probably, actually realistic for me to book a series regular role on a hit tv show.

So how to actually finally manifest this once and for all?

I would also happy just being a full time working acting making $300 a week doing dinner theater regionally somewhere in bumble fuck Wisconsin. I didn’t need to be a tv star, this is just the trajectory I found myself on.
