[WII] Can't Update USB Loader GX from v3.0 r1272 to v4.0

Guys, I recently decided to update my USB Loader GX from v3.0 r1272 to v4.0. I wanted the newer version mainly because it supports launching Virtual Console titles and includes the newer Nintendont forwarder.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to update it. Even after trying to remove the old version of USB Loader GX, it just won't uninstall, so I can't get the new version installed. I have no idea why this is happening. Everything else on the console works perfectly, so I'm not sure if this is caused by having had older versions of USB Loader GX installed over the years or if it's related to the forwarders I have for both the Homebrew Channel and USB Loader GX. At this point, I'm honestly out of ideas.

Has anyone run into this before or know what might be causing it and/or how to fix it?
