I want the FMC to suffer, and I want to read ALL about it before the MMC rescues her.

I want to read about the suffering the FMC goes through, and it be a significant part of the book, before the MMC rescues her. She could be in captivity, enslaved to aliens, in an abusive relationship, etc. Ideally my heart will be torn out and stomped on for the FMC. I don't want just one chapter of backstory before the MMC swoops in and solves all the problems. The MMC could also be suffering with the FMC before their circumstances improve.

No triggers, good with aliens/sci-fi, Omegaverse, erotic horror to an extent (alien experiments are good), mafia, fantasy
