Homosexuality is not pedophilia (Please read text for explanation)

Not only in this subreddit, but even in real life conservative christians constantly compare me (a lesbian woman) to pedophiles.

I just want to explain to all of you, that two adults loving each other IS not the same as raping children, and that I'm deeply disturbed about the fact, that so many "christians" don't see a difference between two adults having sex with each other, and adults raping children.

It is NOT ok to have intercourse with children. Just because it's ok that two adults have intercourse with each other, it doesn't mean that you're allowed to have intercourse with a child!!

Please learn the difference!

It's NOT the same. You are not allowed to have intercourse with children. There is a BIG difference.

It will NEVER be ok to rape children!! Don't do it! Please learn what "consent" means and please lesrn the difference between the words "consent" and "rape" and "adult" and "child".

If an adult has intercourse with a child, the child will be traumatized for life and the consequences are depression, anxiety, PTSD, suicide and many more.

That's why it will NEVER be ok to rape children.

I just wanted to clarify this and explain it, because it's very important to understand the difference.
