Is The 16 Inch Core I9 MacBook Pro Still Worth It?

I'm looking at buying a 16-inch Intel MacBook Pro with an 8-core Core i9, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, and Radeon Pro 5500M (8 GB VRAM) for about $430 USD.

My main uses would be coding, heavy web browsing (lots of tabs), Discord calls, recording 1080p gameplay, editing and exporting 4K video in Final Cut Pro, and playing games like Roblox, Terraria, People Playground, Teardown, GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas. I'd also be connecting two external monitors in addition to the built-in display.

Since I travel with my laptop frequently and take it between houses every other day, portability is also important.

Do you think this MacBook is still a good buy in 2026 for these tasks, or would I be better off saving for an M-series Mac instead?
