What is Dark Romance for you?

I'm not talking that it's just about smut or obsessive ML or FL who are willing to cross limits for each other. Without censoring tell me what dark romance really mean to you? In your own pov how would you describe it? What kind of Dark romance you want to read but there are barely any books like that?
