New to Dating-Overthinking or Normal?

Context - I am a 27M and I am “New to Dating” as in I’ve never really used dating apps to recently. My previous relationships were hookups/flings that turned into a relationship, and that was a very toxic cycle. I’ve taken my time with working through my turmoil from my previous relationships, and trying to do dating the right way, and struggling to understand the norm of situations.

I matched with this girl (26F) and things hit off pretty great. We quickly exchanged numbers and continued to have some good conversations and set a date time. The night before the date, she out of the blue asks to call, and we had a really great talk from 11:30 - 3:00 AM. The next day, we go to dinner, I felt the dinner went great! Another set of good conversations, jokes, banter, the server had to come back 2 times because we were so into talking that we never decided on food. We left and then talked more at her car, and then said our goodbyes. I waited a bit to text her, said I had an incredible time, thanked her for the company, said I was interested in seeing her again.

I didn’t hear from her from Sunday night until Tuesday morning, and she responded with,” Hey. I had fun, thank you again! Sorry I took a minute to respond as I am finishing up packing and start a job at end of the week. I’ll let you know when I’m free!” I responded with “It’s all good, I completely understand! No rush, there is always time to plan, looking forward to it. Hope the move and job goes well!” Since then I have not heard from her one bit.

Social media culture has definitely fried my brain, by overthinking when I see activity in social media, but a lack to continue to communicate consistently with simple check ins throughout the day as we had been. The combination of the dryness of the text the stop of communication after the date. The behaviors of the pre date to post date, is just a little confusing. Is this a normal occurrence that happens? Am I overanalyzing the situation? Do I reach out again after the weekend and some time to reproach this? Or could this just be the easy way to drop a situation without having to say it? For me, if I felt after the date I didn’t want to see someone, I would tell them for the benefit of myself and them. But again, this could all just be the anxiety/overthinking of the male mind. Thanks in advance!
