Want to try outdoor painting. Any advice?

I want to paint lanscapes i see outside. I usually paint from from refrence photo, but want to challenge myself. I do struggle with social anxiety too and want to push myself when it comes to that too. I have done acrylic, maybe ill try oil too. I do have a ok canvas stand made of metal to use. I think my biggest struggle would be to find the right place a be comfortable being there, especially if theres people around.
