thanking god for everything

I’m sure this has been talked about on here but I cannot STAND when Christians thank god for everything done by a human. For example after someone has a major surgery people will say “they recovered because god was looking after them!” No, they recovered because the surgical team that operated for seven hours did their jobs. “We thank you god for this meal” How about thanking your mom for going to the grocery store and cooking for you? Today I saw a post about the making of the music in a certain song and there was a comment that was like “this song is so exquisite god had to have had a hand in it!” I can’t imagine living your life thinking that things that were done as a result of human ingenuity are because of god’s influence. To me it’s the same as saying aliens built the pyramid.
