Just tell me I didn’t get it!!

It’s my 3rd round interview. The second to last one for the position.

It wasn’t my best interview I’ll be honest. I was running off of 2-3hours of sleep. Still, it went decently. I was the first candidate they interviewed for the day. We went 30 minutes over time. I closed hard for the position. I was told they would let me know their decision by the end of day or next morning.

I received a response to my thank you email at 9:45am the next day. Which is within the timeframe they told me they would get back to me on their decision.

At 11am I sent a follow-up on the position.

It’s now 2:42pm and no word on the next steps. This is a bad sign right?

Why respond to my thank you email and not update me on my candidacy. UGH. The pain. THE HORROR.
