Broken Legion Go Z1

I bricked the bios in my OG LeGoZ1 recently and went deep into the rabbit hole of bios chip flashing using external programmers. At the time I saw numerous others having the same issue. Did all those people fix their own, send them in for repair, or are they still bricked? I'm interested in buying bricked legions to see if I can fix them. I'm by no means a professional which is why I'm interested in buying them instead of offering repair service. If someone had absolutely no other option and was willing to take the risk I might offer to fix their device but there would be no guarantee on anything.
