Tomorrow my son turns 2… and I’m quietly celebrating too. ❤️

Wins 🥳

My son turns 2 tomorrow, and I’m so excited to celebrate him. ❤️

But if I’m being honest, I’m quietly celebrating myself too.

Tomorrow is also the anniversary of the day I became a mom. I still remember the exact moment my water broke, what I was doing, and how every hour after that unfolded. It’s amazing how those memories stay with you.

This will always be his special day, and I never want to take that away from him. But sometimes I think about everything that came after— the sleepless nights, the sacrifices, the endless worrying, the daily routines, and all the love that comes with motherhood. And I realized… moms are worth celebrating too.

A friend of mine gave birth 10 days before I did. I greeted her on her child’s birthday, and she said, “Parang gusto ko ring i-celebrate ang sarili ko.” I told her, “You should.”

So here’s your quiet reminder: you are worth celebrating too. Not just on Mother’s Day, but on the day you were born as a mom. 🤍
