Biking from Oshawa to Pickering

I’m going to be using the Waterfront Trail from Ajax-Oshawa then taking the Joseph Kolodzie Oshawa Creek Bike Path. Anything I should expect? (Potholes, shared roads, muddy areas) Many thanks
