Route/search help nyc to Vietnam or Thailand

Hi all! After spending a few hours on seats.aero and Aeroplan and coming up empty and frustrated I am turning to you all for help! Or at least someone to point me in the right direction.

My husband and I are trying to fly from NYC to either Vietnam or Thailand anytime between November and March. We have a decent number of points between Amex and chase and are dreaming of flying business one-way there. I’ve gathered from the internet that our best bet is flying through Taiwan and then a short second flight to Vietnam. The problem is seats.aero is showing absolutely no availability at all for the Nov-Mar time period. When I try to search on AirCanada directly for Aeroplan, the website crashes every time I try to toggle the week view to the following week, so I’d have to search every single day individually for Nov-Mar.

After coming up short this way, I figured Taiwan doesn’t have to be our connection, so I tried searching for NYC to Vietnam generally. I was getting lots of results…but all of them connecting through Paris. I don’t want to waste my points and biz class flight flying the 7 hours to Paris and then having a long onward journey to Asia.

Am I doing something wrong and need to search differently, or are there simply no business class award seats for the entirety of Nov to March from NYC to Vietnam AND Thailand?! Thanks so much in advance for any guidance.
