hello! I’m getting a haircut next week and I don’t know what style or key words to ask for! I’ve done some research and can't see my self or my hair in any of the pictures.

I know to ask for a dry cut but that’s about it. I want shape and volume with minimal length removed but I’m struggling to find inspiration pictures to show the stylist. Does anyone have similar hair to me that can suggest some inspo pics?

first couple pictures are after diffusing (I’m still learning) and I like the the curls but I feel like the shape is so boring and I don’t know how to style it so any suggestions for that as well would be amazing. The middle picture is how I wear my hair most often but I’m sick of buns. the last picture is after air drying.

I’m the only one with curly hair like this in my so I definitely wasn’t raised knowing how to take care of it so I’m learning :)

\- I just started using the Redken Mega Soft conditioner, and the All Soft shampoo (literally two days ago). I use shampoo once a week, conditioner every 2 days.

\- tangle teezer for detangling

\- shea moisture red palm oil leave in conditioner

\- olive oil eco gel for scrunching

\- then with hair still wet I hover diffused for 20 mins then pixie Diffused for another 25 with the bed head diffuser. (the joker looking one).

\- herb ghost oil on my fingers to break the cast and fluff up my roots afterwards.

\- I sleep with silk pillow case and sometimes a bonnet
thanks!
