I think my sick parent wants to suffer

She is sick. Heat is tough with an illness. Luckily we have a portable AC in the apartment. She sleeps in the living room so it’s « useless » because the room is too big (it’s still better to put the cold ac in front of your feet imo). We have 2 bedrooms. She could use the ac in them.

Empty one’s bed isn’t comfortable (still better than heat). We could bring her mat in the bedroom but she says we can’t. My bedroom : I would let her have it if she wants. Still no. Because « she’s tired » (I would move whatever she wants for her, and if she’s tired and hot it would especially make more sense to go to the bedroom and put the ac on)

Instead she stays in the living room and got mad at me for 2 drops of water in the bathroom 👍 I think she wants to suffer to be the one who has it the most hard
