Questions as Fresher(NRI category)

The email i recieved says the induction date to be 17th july. Can i arrive on 17th july itself? What time does the induction start?

Few of my relatives live in banglore. Can i get leaves during weekends if i get homesick or bored at times for the first three months and beyond? How stricts are the proctors?

Will faculty treat me better cause i am an NRI or will everyone suffer together?🥀
