What should I do after this?

Advice

Hi guys. I came on here to just rant about something I found out yesterday. When I was little I went through a lot of things, especially moving to America. I came here when I was 8 in 2016. I always wanted to become a Surgeon when I was a little girl. I still do. I realized my sophomore year of high school I couldn’t really do that. Since I’m not a citizen and don’t have residency. I wasn’t able to get good scholarships. Medical school is loans and loans of money. I didn’t want to go through all of that. So I stepped back from that dream and i decided to be a radiation therapist. In high school I took so many classes to have a good transcript. I completely and passed about 8 AP classes. I even enrolled into college classes to have credit on them when I graduated. I worked extremely hard in high school. To save money I applied to my nearby college. I got called in to get some stuff figured out yesterday and apparently when they took my work authorization they seen my status for USCIS was pending. They asked me if I had any other documents and I said I didn’t. I only have my social and my work authorization basically. We came here with a tourist visa and my parents realized we should stay. We applied for asylum in March of 2017. We have done everything we could even applied for TPS when we had the chance to. We’re still waiting on a call back from immigration. Anyways, the college told me since I’m not a resident I would have to pay out of state tuition. Which was 1300 a class!! I wanted to start with radiography which was only 8 credits to get into the program so that meaning 1300 a class was just crazy to me. Then they dropped the biggest bomb. I wouldn’t be able to take my state exam for registry because I don’t have a status. They told me I could still take my credits and when I hear back from my status we could figure something out. As if I haven’t been already waiting for almost a decade:/
They also told me since my state requires one to have residency. I wouldn’t be able to do lots of things in healthcare. I honestly am just devastated. I planned this since I was little. I tried so so hard in high school. I can’t believe my status in the United States changed that for me
