Why i think belifts actions arent actually that unsmart

DISCUSSION, OBSERVATIONS, RANTS

Some people think that the way Belift handled EVANS (Heeseungs) department was horrible. But I think they did SOME things right.
First if all, their contact renewal most likely already started after they won the mama daesang and not how most people think in 2027. This is the time they prove the company they are worth the risk and this time contribute their conditions for a possible renewal.

A lot of fans keep asking why he couldn’t just stay in the group and release solo music on the side. But if you actually look at their schedule, it’s completely impossible. Enha is constantly on tour with back-to-back comebacks. If he wanted to focus on his own music, the whole group would have to freeze their activities to wait for him. They didnt share the same goal anymore, the other six members wanted to keep pushing the team even further together, while he probably didn’t feel the same anymore.
Because of this, they had to have him leave before the tour even started. Even though the February comeback felt a little rushed to everyone, it was a necessary risk. Pushing him out to perform at the festival in Melbourne was actually a smart move because it immediately showed the fans the members' new form. It proved that Enha can still pull off an insane performance as six, so fans don't have to constantly worry about how the tour will look.
On top of that, he is probably still under the same company because he legally can't just break his contract without a massive, messy lawsuit. Since his original contract likely runs until 2027, they most likely just modified the terms so he can debut as a soloist under them instead.

Lastly, when the news dropped, fans were obviously devastated and didn't know where to direct all that anger. Most people only think ill of Belift, but the company likely put out that vague statement and took the entire blame on purpose. By taking the blame, they completely protected their artists. If they had told or let him speak up to say that he chose to leave because his goals didn't match the team's anymore, fans would have turned on him for "abandoning" the group. Taking the PR hit was the only way to shield both the remaining members and Evan's future solo career.

(This is purely my personal opinion and i’m not trying to defend Belift for not properly addressing the situation but they didn’t handle it entirely wrong, especially from an economic standpoint)
