Part 11 of systematically stripping down version 1.6. Today we explore an incredibly frustrating asset container lock that transforms enemy weapon drops into permanent environmental decorations.

We all know the rules of Restored Land mode: no resource respawns, no enemy farming, pure survival starvation. Every piece of military gear matters. So check out these two clean control clips from my main route. First, on the E&F Factory concrete rooftop, an archer drops a clean bow asset. Second, outside the Mine facility on uneven grass, a Baron Soldier drops a sniper rifle. In both cases, the visual meshes are perfectly generated above the ground with zero clipping.

But here is the structural discrepancy: the interaction matrix is completely hollow. The interface engine fails to mount the interaction hitbox layer. There are no prompts to collect or swap the gear. Even better, pulsing the Survival Sense radar tracks the root asset perfectly (the white rings flash directly over them), but executing a physical contact reset (a basic kick) reveals that the model has zero collision. Your boot passes straight through it. If you walk 50 meters away, the item simply despawns into thin air.

Good to know this layout omission was already a well-known legacy issue in version 1.5, yet it was casually shipped straight into the 1.6 survival mode economy.

\#12 is coming tomorrow, covering an absolute state machine breakdown where enemy snipers get locked into infinite firing loops with zero reloads, while visual damage registration completely collapses!

The fix is on the house. :)

No Respawn in Restored Land? Fine. But I didn't know I had to pay a loot tax to the floor geometry! #11 🛒🏛️
