What does Spiraling Leap do?

Not sure if this is the right flair but I finally got Monoma and one of the recommended Special Tunings for him is Nejire's. I tried it with and without it and I can't say I even see a difference, do I need jump height tunings for it to be noticeable? Sorry if this is a dumb question but between the very vague description and hard to notice effect I'm a bit confused.
