Acer Nitro v 17 AI - Ryzen 7 260 , 32 gb Ram , 1tb SSD, RTX 5070 - Battery Drain Issue while plugged in during gaming.

Hi , I recently bought the Laptop mentioned above, Day 1 ran fine no problems. Day 2 I turned on the Battery Optimizer 80% and that’s when it started. My battery began draining while gaming plugged in. I turned it off it continued to do this. I was losing 1% a min. , It continued to do it even in balance & eco mode. Today I went under Start Menu - Settings - Gaming - Game Mode - Graphics in here at the bottom under advanced there’s a list with the games and other apps. I Clicked on the games that this drain was happening with , there you can select GPU Preference- Power Saving on each game the drain happened on. This fixed my issue, My laptop is no longer draining battery. I can even run my games like Black Desert Online in remastered mode, with my Laptop on Performance or Turbo mode now with no drain. Wanted to share this info incase it can help anyone else suffering from the battery Drain issues while gaming plugged in as I see this is a common problem due to the 135 watt charger.
