I scheduled a tattoo appointment without getting the og artists permission.

For context, this is going to be my third tat, I'm still a newbie to the world of tattoos. I got very excited about this appointment, only to realize afterwards I did not have the rights to the artwork I am getting. Of course, I scrambled to dm the original artist for a tattoo ticket. I have two days to get permission before the appointment and I'm quite anxious. In the case that they do not get back to me in time, what would the next best course of action be? I mean, if I get the tattoo before they respond, what can I do? I'd really rather not get sued over a harmless mistake on my part.
