Need perspective

hi everyone.

My family and I recently moved to another state temporarily so that my husband can take advantage of a job that is paying a lot so that we can pay off our $25k debt. They are paying way more than usual and also doing a ton of overtime, so it’s rough, but it can help us get the debt paid off quickly.

Anyway, he has been working 50-70 hours per week depending on the week. I’m staying home with our 2 and 5 year old. Since he’s working so much, I’ve taken over everything. I walk the dog 2 times a day, meal plan, cook, do all the cleaning and shopping, and do the kids bedtime routines. My toddler is also waking up several times a night since we are in a small apartment and having to share a room. So I’m up with her 3-4 times a night and my husband is sleeping in the living room so he can get a fulls night rest.

Ever since we moved her, my husband has been making little comments here and there. Like “oh. you forgot to buy yogurt?” or “wow you didn’t make my food for lunch”. Nothing intense but still made me feel bad. Well, yesterday, I started my period and was feeling exhausted. I let the kids watch tv more than usual and didn’t clean up as much as I usually do. When my husband got home he was very upset that there was food crumbs all over the floor in the living room. I told him I really needed an easy day and he was still upset. I told him why don’t you vacuum it up if it makes you so upset? And he said yeah let me do everything after I’ve worked 12 hours! It lead to a big fight because I feel like he thinks I do nothing all day. I’m so exhausted and burnt out doing everything and having zero time to myself. I know he’s working a lot and it’s hard on him but I need him to see that its hard on me too!

Am I in the wrong here? I just feel like I don’t even know what to think anymore. All opinions and advice welcome. Thank you for reading.
