Is 27 too old to begin teaching

Hi all,

I’m currently an electrician but I’m planning on beginning a 6 year open university bachelor in teaching. I’d also like to gain my QTS as well, any ideas how long this takes?

I’m 27, am I too old to be starting this journey. I can carry on working my full time job and do the university part time.

My long term goal is to be able to teach English language abroad.
