Spotify podcast controls missing on lock screen (Xiaomi 17T Pro)

Has anyone else experienced this Spotify podcast lock screen issue on HyperOS 3?

Hi everyone,

I'm using a Xiaomi 17T Pro running HyperOS 3 (Android 16), and I've noticed a strange issue with Spotify.

- When I play music, the lock screen media controls work perfectly.

- When I play podcasts, the lock screen only shows the Play/Pause button (or the rewind and fast-forward controls are completely missing).

I've already tried:

- Reinstalling Spotify

- Clearing cache and app data

- Disabling battery optimization

- Enabling all notification and lock screen permissions

- Updating both HyperOS and Spotify to the latest versions

Nothing has fixed the issue.

Has anyone else with a Xiaomi device or HyperOS 3 experienced the same problem? If so, were you able to find a workaround, or does this seem to be a bug between HyperOS and Spotify?
