Just finished OG Akiha route

Hello, I just finished the Akiha route and thought to share my thoughts again.

I thought the beginning with >!Satsuki was neat with how she is the first vampire compared to Arcueid. I liked how I didn't care much for her character much but when Shiki kills her and thinks about her wanting to still be human, I begun to actually liked her character and her effect on Shiki.!<

I liked Ciel a bit more in this route because we get see a bit more of the real her and her caring about Shiki by telling him >!he is not a killer and that he would not kill innocent people.!<

I like how they show >!SHIKI being just himself and not Roa, and how this is just him completely losing his mind so Roa couldn't take over him this time, SHIKI was neat as a villain in this route but I feel I liked Roa more but I wonder if that'll change with the next two routes. I liked how he has blood swords and we got lore about the Tohno blood being evil.!<

Time to talk about Akiha, I liked her personality being opened up to reveal she deeply cares about Shiki and how she's the only one who cried for him. I did think she was cute for her caring side but I liked her more in the way of a sister caring for her brother.>!I liked how she is the reason that Shiki is still alive after being killed and because of that her tohno blood activated.!<

!I do like how the Nanaya clan get finally revealed and what is Shiki's deal with his bloodlust towards vampires, I do think it's interesting we get more story about the two years Shiki lived as the adopted son before being hypnotized to become Shiki Tohno.!<

I like both of the endings but the normal end felt ok but that's probably what it's supposed to be, a half-ass way of dealing with a problem that will probably never be fixed, but the true ending was interesting because of >!Shiki killing himself but is he alive inside of Akiha now?!<

Also cool news Shiki is a good man in this route who didn't do anything fucked up to the girls yay.

I like far side so far and am curious to see the Hisui route next. So far my ranking is Arc route, Akiha route, ciel route.

I personally liked Shiki and Akiha dynamic as people who aren't family wanting to protect each other as brother and sister, but I don't mind them having a relationship much.
