I've decided to restore my Bball shoes on my own. Need help ASAP!
I need some help, specially from the guys from the Phillipines/Indonesia.
I live in Brazil and Basketball shoes here expensive (Some models like the newer ones or flagships like the Lebron 23s, Ja or AE are almost a month worth of the avg salary). Basically I've noticed I could get four or five good pair of models I liked for the price of a brand new store bought pair.
And since I've always liked the shoes from the 2013-2020 era, in the beggining of this year I started to buy some second hand models (condition as good as new) that I've wanted to have since I was a kid (adult money rocks) for a fraction of the original price (some are still expensive for the Brazilian reality, for reference the top 10% monthly salary here is R$3500 = $700). Here are the ones I've managed to cop:
- Kobe 11 Elite "BHM" (R$300 = $59)
- Converse BB Shift "Botanical Garden" (R$150 = $30)
- Lebron XV "City Edition" (R$400 = $80)
- Foamposite One "Habanero Red" (R$340 = $67)
- Lebron Soldier 11 "Olive Camo" (don't remember)
- Hyperdunk 2016 Flyknit "Team Red" (R$150 = $30)
- Hyperdunk 2016 Flyknit "Oreo" (R$180 = $35)
Here's the issue: all of them were almost unused, but because of this unuse as soon as I played in them for one or two scrimmages, sole separation happened. And both of the Lebrons have the Zoom units popped/bulged. All but two of them have problems in the outsole (separation) or zoom unit.
The best restorers in Rio de Janeiro (where I live) are focused in lifestyle sneakers and not bball performers. And the last time I tried to take one of mine to a regular shoe restorer, he absolutely f*cked my Lebron Soldier 11 and popped all of the Zoom units they had. So I've decided to pick up a new hobby: restore my performance shoes.
Problem is: I need to buy new zoom unit replacements and outsoles.
I've seen a lot of restorers from the Phillipines showing them in videos, but can't find the links to buy/ship tem to Brazil. The main models I'm looking for are: Lebrons (15, 16 and Soldier 11) and Kobe 11 insoles.
Do anyone have a clue where can I find these itens?
