After updating my Dreame Matrix 10 Ultra to firmware **4.3.9\_3835**, I’ve been experiencing several problems.

I’m trying to find out if anyone else with this firmware is seeing the same issues.

I’ve already tried the usual troubleshooting steps:

\- Rebooted the robot.
\- Unplugged the dock for several minutes.
\- Cleared the app cache.
\- Deleted and recreated the map.
\- Submitted multiple log reports through the app with photos and videos attached.

Unfortunately, none of it has helped.

**1. “Wash mop pads after each room” no longer works**

I’ve confirmed this through multiple tests using both **Custom Cleaning** and **CleanGenius**.

The “wash after each room” setting is simply ignored. Instead, the robot washes the mops once before starting the cleaning and once after the entire job is finished. Before this firmware, it would return to the dock approximately 6-8 times during a full-house cleaning to wash the mops and refill water.

Because it no longer returns to the dock, the mop pads eventually become dry while they’re still spinning, and the robot continues mopping with dry pads for the rest of the cleaning.

Interestingly, mop washing based on **time** or **cleaned area** in Custom Cleaning still works correctly. The issue seems to be specific to the **“wash after each room”** option and CleanGenius.

**2. Scheduled cleaning sometimes skips rooms**

I’ve experienced scheduled cleaning jobs where the robot skips several rooms and still considers the cleaning complete.

This has happened with scheduled jobs using both **Custom Cleaning** (vacuum only) and **CleanGenius**.

The skipped rooms weren’t blocked, and I was able to start a manual cleaning immediately afterward without any problems, so it doesn’t appear to be a navigation or map issue.

**3. Manual whole-house vacuum only cleaned one room**

I manually started a whole-house vacuum.

The robot vacuumed only the living room, then finished the job without attempting to clean the remaining rooms.

Same as before, it was nor blocked and had access to other rooms.

**4. AI side mop sometimes stays extended**

Occasionally the AI side mop extends at the beginning of the cleaning and then remains extended for the entire job.

AI Side Mop is enabled and set to **Intelligent**, so this clearly doesn’t seem to be intended behavior. Because the side mop never retracts to its normal position, it negatively affects the overall mopping performance throughout the cleaning.

**5. Right mop pad sometimes doesn’t spin**

I’ve also noticed that the right mop pad occasionally stops spinning during mopping.

**6. Auto-empty options have been reduced**

I’d also like to see the previous auto-empty options return.

The current choices are only **Off**, **Low**, and **Standard**. We used to have a **High Frequency** option, which offered much better control.

Right now, **Standard** empties the dustbin too often, while **Low** doesn’t empty it often enough. The previous options gave much better control over how often the dustbin was emptied.

Has anyone else with firmware **4.3.9\_3835** experienced any of these issues?

One thing I also noticed is the change in how skipped rooms are handled. Before this firmware, if the robot couldn’t access a room, that room would be marked in **grey** in the cleaning report, and I could simply choose to clean the missed room afterward.

Now, as you can see in the attached screenshots, the app reports the cleaning as **completed**, even though it never cleaned several rooms. I also have some videos but I can’t post them 🙁

Dreame Matrix 10 Ultra - Firmware 4.3.9_3835 introduced multiple issues. Anyone else?
