[Rocket Appartamento] issues

Hi all,

I'm running into an interesting problem with my Rocket Appartamento.

When I switch it on, it heats up normally. Once it reaches temperature, it turns off. After a while, when it has cooled down a bit, it turns back on again. It basically seems to shut down when it gets too hot and starts working again once it cools.

This is a new issue. After doing some research, I suspected either the pressurestat or the high-temperature thermal fuses. Both tested fine, but I replaced them anyway. Unfortunately, the problem remained.

Here's the interesting part: with the side panels removed, the machine runs perfectly. As soon as I reinstall the panels, the problem comes back.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

At this point, the control box is the only thing I can still think of replacing. However, I would expect other symptoms if that were the culprit, rather than something that appears to be purely heat-related. That's just a gut feeling though.

Before I order a new control box, I thought I'd check here to see if anyone has any ideas or has run into the same issue.
