94 year old mum left without phone

Seems like Vodafone converted my mother's phone to fibre in the last few days. She's 94 and lives 150 miles from me.

Installer told her " she needed to get an adapter for her phone" and told her to call Vodafone. But didn't tell her her phone wasn't working.

Today she went on the bus to a lunch that had been cancelled. Apparently they tried to ring her but it just rang out, and of course the answerphone didn't kick in.

I am absolutely disgusted.
