Breaking concerns
Hey hoping for some input on my car 2021 50k miles with the bbr package. I few months ago I went to rotate my tires while doing so found passenger side calipers appeared to be seized or something along those lines cause that sides break pad was basically gone while driver sides was maybe half way through its life. I talked to my friend he recommended rebuilding the caliper and he said on his wife Mazda (an suv model) he had something similar happen and it would up being the break line so I ordered to breaks rebuild kit and a line. Installed these and bleed the breaks no issues breaks felt better. Other day I had a pretty hard breaking senerio out of my own stupidity but while I was on the breaks as hard as I felt I had ever been in a car the abs didn’t feel like it kicked on (it also didn’t feel like it locked up) I am only about a year or so into ownership and have never felt like this car slowed down like it should after find the caliper issue I caulked up to that but this recent event has me alittle worried there may be another issue. I did a test I read online to check if it’s a Vacuum issue and it “passed”. Just wondering if anyone has dealt with anything similar or if this is just how the breaks are tuned given it’s a sporty car intended to be driven in track and maybe I am just not given it as much pressure as I feel like I really am. I am planning on rotating the tired again this weekend so I am gonna give the breaks a once over hoping I don’t find another smoked set of breaks. Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks!
